Crab Swallowing Moon Jelly

This jelly at Peanut Island in the Sandy Beach most likely was hungry, saw a crab and ate it or perhaps the crab ate the moon jelly or maybe they are just haning out:). -Katrina GREAT KATRINA!

Students are mystified, because they saw the jelly moving, so assume that it was not dead at the time.

I am not sure you can download this article linked here, but there are well documented symbioses between crabs and jellies. Moon jellies eat tiny wimpy crustaceans, and would have trouble with a big tough crab like that...
