C. fuscescens overwintering in Monterey Bay, Mitrocoma makes an appearance

Description and Comments

East winds pushed jellies to the south east off Pebble Beach. Large and small sea nettles still persist in the bay. First time I've seen Mitrocoma since last season, large and mature, ~5-10 cm.
