Description and Comments

Found this beautiful, approx. 30cm long Jellyfish at dusk in front of Mauan Island, Komodo National Park, Flores, Indonesia. The jellyfish was drifting the extremely strong currents of the region towards the Indian Ocean.

I'm thankful for any ID on jellyfish and symbiotic fish.

Honestly, I can't make a final decision on what this species is. There are a lot of undiscovered jellyfish, but it seems the most undiscovered area for jellyfish is this area. Also, I am not as familiar with jellyfish in this area, so I cannot tell for sure on this one.
