Moon Jelly Bloom

At work today I noticed a bloom of Aurelia aurita on my way to do a plankton sample. LOTS of female jellies (with pink rings). I don't normally see this, so I thought it was something to look up, and I found this website to report it on.

Great find! Those are the native Aurelia labiata, A. aurita is the moon jelly from the North Sea.
