I am not quite sure of this
I am not quite sure of this species. It appears to possibly be a Catostylus, as that gastric pattern is often observed on them, however other features tend to refer to various species. I will send this picture to a local researcher to have it evaluated.

I have also concluded the same species. Pseudorhiza haeckeli, native to the area. It is not species that is well known, thus it is often confused with other species.
The date and the location is
The date and the location is wrong. This jellyfish was spotted, possibly around 22nd March, 2014, best guess Port Neill, (places are all a blur to me now, after a South Australian Road Trip). I found it snorkelling near a jetty, in the Spencer Gulf. I also took a bit of video footage of it which can be found on YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpuNtbutomc

P.S. This jellyfish was minus the single long tentacle that I've seen depicted in images of Pseudorhiza haeckeli.

Actually, I think it's still Pseudorhiza haeckeli, as I have seen specimens without the tentacle often noted.

I too had noted that as well, which is what had me confused. I wonder what the go is with that: The difference between males and females, or is the single long tentacle simply used for catching prey/feeding?

Like some species, the tentacle is in fact used for feeding. So this leads me to think it is the same species. However, the tentacle structure or color could also denote species. There is obviously very poor research committed to it. I still have not received any messages from the researcher as of yet.
