Aequorea still in Monterey Bay with nettles

Found nice large Aequorea in surface slicks right off the aquarium. Nettles continue to cause screening issues at MBA, thousands of nettles still in front of the aquarium. Algauropsis was present in small numbers. Plankton was diatom and copepod rich, found one squid larva in second tow.
