Halimedusa typus in great abundance in south Monterey Bay

Description and Comments

Thousands, if not millions, of Halimedusa were at the surface caught in small wind rows. Blowing into the kelp at the shale beds. Pleurobrachia was also present with the Halimedusa but relatively sparse.
