Quick trip in Monterey Bay, few jellies at surface.

Only saw a few old moon jellies, Pleurobrachia and random hydrozoans at the surface. Winds were variable, surface slicks were hard to find. Plankton tow on the other hand was loaded with calanoid copepods and a few Pleurobrachia. Found one large salp, either Thetys or Weelia.
