Stung by Jelly in South Carolina

The public beach access outside of Georgetown, SC has jellyfish in its waters. I got stung on my upper thigh by a big one. I did not see it but I felt its tentacles, which were long and soft - like cooked pasta noodles. My husband was stung 4 times by much smaller tentacles (leaving only a 4in mark, whereas my welts from my sting on my thigh was roughly a foot long). We agreed that I was mostly likely stung by a Mushroom jelly and that he was stung by cannonball jellies.
