Lots of purple jellyfish

We saw these on PEI, from our ferry back to Nova Scotia, and also on Cape Breton over the course of 4 days. We all got stung by them but it wasn't very painful fortunately - just left a small mark that was gone within an hour. Some were washed up on the beach but most were in the sea, at almost all the beaches we went to. The ones we saw from our ferry were much larger than the ones we saw at the beach.
