Pacific Sea Nettles in Pacifica

Surfer saw several brownish yellow jellyfish with maroon tentacles yesterday evening 7/18/2014 around dusk. Several seen. Most jellies seen about 2/3 of the way to north end of beach just out past surf break, by surfer paddling north to south. One surfer said he felt his leg get brushed by one in a wave. Also disintegrated portion of jelly-like material washed over surfboard. Looked for information on internet and they appeared to match description of species Chrysaora Fuscescens
