Seen from paddleboard 500 m from shore in moderately shallow ( ? 3 metres ) charteris bay, lyttelton harbour.350 mm across spotted canopy dark brown feeder arms and long fine trailing white tentacles several metres long. identified as identical to one videoed in nz waters
