The tide brought a single Polyorchis to the Friday Harbor Labs dock for my viewing pleasure on the sunny afternoon of the first day of winter.

What was the water temp when they arrived? Ours just arrived at ~53F surface temp. Just about a month after yours...

Hi Jellyhunter,
We usually see Polyorchis in Friday Harbor-proper only in the autumn, although in a few bays here, it seems to be a summer resident. The water was about 8 degrees C., or in the high 40s F and I'm guessing the individual was about 2 months old, maybe 15 mm tall.
