Possible Mnemiopsis leydi

Description and Comments

Caught while padleboarding at lowestoft beach. Definitely a ctenophore (not beroe pleurobrachia), very transparent and fragile texture, looking very much like Mnemiopsis but orgnism was too fragile to be transported back from beach to a jar.

Interesting! Would be great to see a pic, but if you see another, try to see where the lobes connect to the body (far back from the mouth or halfway or less between the mouth and aboral tip).
