Scypho spotted from Iki Island

Spotted this jellyfish (see photo) from the ferry dock in Ashibe, Iki Island, Japan. Bell diameter was probably less than than 10 cm. I have been told this is Rhizostoma octopus (which is not a valid species according to SeaLifeBase.org, = R. pulmo?) but it does not look the same as results from an image search online. Any advice you can provide on species identification would be appreciated.
