Hermodice carunculata Fireworm

Description and Comments

At Fort Pickens beach jetties at fireworm crawled up my husband's leg today and when he went to remove it; it filled his gloves with bristles. Also on site was numerous ctenophores Beroe ovata (comb Jellies) and tons of beach trash (plastic bottles and fishing line everywhere). Water was 20 ft visibility.
