Jellyfish attacks in Central American beaches

Newspapers today (Sunday 18th,April,2010)reports jellyfish bites on several hundred of people on Guatemala. El Salvador and Nicaragua beaches, (www.laprensagrafica.com/el-salvador/departamento.html and www.lapagina.com.sv)they don't mention the species.The region (Centro America) is on Several days holidays and beaches are crowded. Locations: From Pto Quetzal, Guatemala (Lat: 13.9205 Long.: -90.7877) to Pto. Corinto, Nicaragua (Lat.:12.45980 Long.:-84.0470).
