Saw peices

I saw many almost whole and smaller peice of them off the coast of California near Laguna. They were a striking blue color with rings in the colored part and clear on top with a clear cartilage-like ridge (sail). Laguna is a very rocky/crushed type of beach and is surrounded by tide pools.
