Lion’s Mane (maybe?)

We saw this jelly being tossed about some rocks in the rising tide of Little Hunters Beach in Acadia National Park. It didn’t seem to be alive anymore, and seemed to be breaking up into bits. Not certain if it was actually a lion’s mane
