Allatina Grandis Oman

Saw large 1 ft long (body of jellyfish - tentacles longer) box jellyfish when snorkeling off beach near Muscat, Oman. This was two days after a storm surge from an Indian Ocean tropical storm between India and Oman. Took video of jelly. Hour later swimming back to shore was stung around ankle by jelly. Sting was severe - caused two days of pain and nausea. Removed doEns of barbs with tweezers. Comparing video to article , location and sting, was an Allatina Grandis blown in from storm.
