Dosima fascicularis (blue buoy barnacle)

Found attached to plastic label, beached at edge of surf zone. This was definitely a blue barnacle that had created some floating foam mass at its attachment point to the plastic. It was not a Velella (I first thought it would be when I saw it - I've never seen a D. fascicularis before!).
