Stung Today (9/13/16) off Sunset Beach

I was boogie boarding nearest to the 40th Street access path around 1:30pm today when I must have brushed again a jellyfish. It hit my left forearm, wrist and my right ankle. As soon as I was hit, I knew it was a jellyfish sting and proceeded directly out of the surf and to the beach house to treat the most painful areas. During a walk toward the pier at around 6:30pm, my friend and I came across 3 or 4 beached jellyfish - fully intact, but dead. We identified them as Moon Jellyfish - beautiful, but - wow - they lay some mean stingers.
