Description and Comments

On September 12th, 2015 at 9.40 am a field of jellyfishes (at least one hundred of Pelagia noctiluca) were seen off Cap SiciƩ near Toulon, France, NW Mediterranean Sea.
These jellyfishes were mostly in healthy conditions, and they were bathing in a rough sea mainly between 0 and 3-4m depth. Easterly winds (25 to 29 knots) were blowing and sea temperature was about 22 degC at that time.
