Velella velella-Neah Bay

Description and Comments

Driving back to Port Angeles from Cape Flattery we stopped on the side of the road to explore the beach (there is a large picnic shelter on the bluff). Smelled of dead fish, when we got closer to the water we saw purple, and I saw papery skins fluttering on the beach. Took a closer look and saw they were jellys. Thousands of them on the beach.
