Many drifting Cassiopeias

Noticed tons on bottom sandy area- as usual. But also noticed that a few/many we're drifting and swimming. Do they a certain life style in spring that would encourage this behavior more so than in say the summer? The swimmers also appeared a little cleaner - for lack of a better word. Less frilly than the sand dwellers. Love this little photosynthetic jelly!
