Smack of Small White Jellyfish

Description and Comments

Location: A channel off east side of Estero Isl. north of the San Carlos Blvd. Bridge.
Small white (2-5 inch diameter and transluscent) jellyfish, drifting with the tide into the channel at 1 per 4 sq.ft. of surface; along with a red hue of the water and small clumps of bubbles at 1/4 the frequency of jellyfish sightings. This was preceeded by a week of nightly sightings of 3-6" inch colorless (milky) Spanish Dancer nudibranchs.
