Lots of jellies in Sechelt Inlet
Description and Comments
Did two dives at Tuwanek Point in Sechelt Inlet on the Sunshine Coast. There were a fair number of Pleurobrachia, as well as a few large Aurelia labiata (BD ~25cm) and Cyanea capillata (BD ~30-40cm). However, by far the most abundant jelly were small Aequorea (BD ~2-4 cm). These jellies were very abundant, with one per every couple of cubic metres.
