Aurelia in Motoyasu-gawa River, Hiroshima, Japan

Dozens of Aurelia were visible drifting down the Motoyasu-gawa River from the Heiwa-ohashi Bridge in Hiroshima, Japan. While some jellies appeared moribund, many were pulsing and appeared healthy. There was a wide variety of sizes, but most had a bell diameter of about 8-12 cm in diameter.
