Jellyfish

Europe, Spain, South Coast, Andalusia, at La Cala de Mijas (near Fuengirola). Mi August to end August 2012. Clear sea, warm water, sandy beach with only 1M of stones & shells as you enter the water. sometimes windy (direction from Cadix to Malaga), next day calm. Saw jellywish several days in a row, and once only one day. Every two minutes somebody came out of the water with a brownish/purplish jellyfish in their net. I'd say spaced about 5-10m. They floated around the shore up to 5m in the sea, on the surface and under the surface, and were carried in by the wavelets (well mediterranean waves). 2 to 5 per day!
