Jelly season ending...but not over yet

Description and Comments

A cold spring and late bloom appeared to delay the jelly season a bit this year in Indian Arm. Not many jellyfish were seen through June and July, despite a fair bit of time spent on the water with a keen eye out for jellies. However, large populations of Aurelia labiata were observed through August and Sept., as well as numerous individual Cyanea Capillata, all of varying size classes.
Now into November, I still spot the occasional Aurelia or Cyanea, but rarely more than 1 or 2 at a time.
