Very Large Jellyfish Monterey Bay

Sailing a Hobie 20 from Santa Cruz to Moss Landing we saw a jellyfish that was approximately 7 feet across with tentacles that were approximately 16 feet long trailing below it. My estimation of size is in relation to a 20 foot Hobie cat sailboat. It was floating 2 feet below the surface in very clear water. Wind at 10mph.
