Cyanea lamarckii have arrived...finally!
Description and Comments
Blue lions mane jellyfish Cyanea lamarckii are starting to wash up on the beaches. I've also been finding some small hydrozoans, one that looks like Eutonina and another that looks like an Earleria sp., but isn't. I've also seen lots of pleurobrachia washing up too. Hooray! It's jelly season at last!!
