Jellyfish in the Long Island sound

This morning I was walking in the beach and the water is full of little jellyfish , I’ve attached a photo of them (I have a video which Is better quality , but there isn’t a way to attach it )

I’ve also noticed that there has been increase in kelp ( so much kelp !!) these past few weeks , so maybe that’s why there are so many jellys ?
