Stung by jellyfish

I was stung by a jellyfish while swimming at Ormond beach in Florida. I did not get a good look at it but I felt it and it left welts all over my leg. I was deep in the water so was unable to see. I had been the 5th person that day to have reported being stung by a jellyfish.
I am also on vacation so I am not from Florida originally.
