Northumberland 8/9/10th October 2016

Several Compass jellyfish sighted, approx sizes from 20 cm dioameter to largest seen around 40cm diameter in water in surf zone and on beach at low tide to mid tide on 8th ans 9th October at Embleton . Also sighted on 10th October one Lion's Mane approx 30cm S. end of Beadnell in shallows near reef/ rocky outcrops; also a few more Compass species in shallows and in surf zone as tide rose from low over sand bars .
