Stung this type of jelly fish while walking into the sea, can someone please tell me what type it is?

That is definitely a
That is definitely a cubozoan. The bell is shaped like a box, and it has four major tentacles. I'm guessing it's Carybdea marsupialis since that species has been known to sting a few beachcomers in Spain. Plus the bell looks fairly similar in shape. Cubozoans are known to have very stong and powerful stings, but Carybdea marsupialis is only mildly venomous to humans.

Yeah, most likely Carybdea marsupialis, a box jellyfish. Doesn't surprise me that they are there, but it's not a particularly common species. This particular species isn't known to be particularly dangerous.
