Sea Nettle collected on the Rhode River with Maury Project group

Description and Comments

The Maury Project brought us (teachers) to the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center to collect data. Stepping into the Rhode River - Chesapeake Bay we noticed very many Sea Nettle. Our group of 6 spent about 30 minutes seining and collect close to 50 Sea Nettle. Although we suspect Ctenophores as well, we did not see any.
