New Year's Jellies

Spotted dozens of moon jellies (Aurelia labiata) in waters on the south side of Grey Rocks Island. Medusae appeared generally healthy and were swimming slowly in clear water. Many medusae had white masses in their oral arms (see photo), while some did not.
