Oxycephalus in Bodega Bay, CA -- 1/2/2016
Description and Comments
Okay, it's not a jelly, but it's a jelly-associate. We found a hyperiid amphipod, Oxycephalus clausi, washed ashore in Bodega Bay, CA, on 1/2/2016. (We also noted several Phronima and some salps.) It's the first time we've encountered this species here.
