Del Monte Beach at Surf Way (Purple Striped Jelly?)

Taken in July at Del Monte Beach at Surf Way. Found pretty far up from current tide line so guessing it washed up at high tide. Very large...my size 8 ladies foot for reference. Possible a purple striped jellyfish?
