Salps At Duck, NC
Description and Comments
At high tide for two days 6/13 and 6/14 thousands of individual salp organisms were observed in the surf at Duck, North Carolina. Many were deposited on beach at the wave line. In the water, one observer said "it was like swimming in soup."
