Velella velella update

many hundreds washed up at mouth of Strawberry Creek after 6 days of high NW winds. just these here, at the creek. none (to speak of) southward to Mad River; none to speak of on the open beach northward. mostly bleached to colorless, but a few retained dark blue color.
