Moon jelly in Miami

Saw a jelly fish today at around 4:30 on North Beach (69th -72nd and Collins Ave in Miami Beach)
no purple flags with warnings today yet the transclusent pink jelly fish was floating and alive between the water and the shore line. Luckily i looked down and avoided stepping on it! One man was not so lucky and got stung while going for a swim.
