Steve or George, Any ID
Steve or George,
Any ID ideas? First thought was a broken up moon jelly- but then it looked so perfectly flowered with tentacles that I am hoping it is something unique to the area.
Thanks
That looks very odd. Doesn't

That looks very odd. Doesn't seem like a moon jelly. What was the size?
I can't really even come
I can't really even come close to identifying this one! However, it does appear to be a hydromedusa of some type.
Looks like a part of a Moon
Looks like a part of a Moon Jelly to me. On the Atlantic Coast our Moon Jellies sometimes have swollen nodules on the undersides of their bells, right where the gonads are. I think this may be a clean cut of those nodules and the oral arms of a Moon Jelly.
Gonad pouch of a moon jelly
Gonad pouch of a moon jelly or a Chrysaora... probably moon jellyfish given the timing...
