Dead Jellies in PEI

Description and Comments

After Tropical Storm Arthur came up the coast this past summer, my husband and I took a trip to along the Northern Coastal route of PEI (PEI National Park) When swimming we were being very vigilant as there were sporadic (1 every 10 m or so) of jellies drifting in the current. There were also approximately 100 dead jellies along a 2km (as far as we walked) stretch on the the beach. Most of them were plate sized or larger and purple in colour. We saw fewer when in an area with sand dunes but more along open water.
