A few different jellies around Bamfield

Description and Comments

Over the past week have spotted several species of jelly around Bamfield, including Chrysaora fuscescens, Cyanea capillata, Aurelia labiata, Polyorchis, and Pleurobrachia. Also heard numerous Velella have been spotted further offshore.

Thanks Lucas. Great variety. We have gotten Velella reports up as far as offshore Oregon, and interesting to know they are off BC as well.
