Jellyfish bloom off Fiesta Island San Diego

Thousands of moon jellies of all sizes from an inch or two to dinner plate size have appeared off Fiesta Island. My team paddles there and have never seen so many. It's impossible to avoid hitting them as we paddle through the water. I first saw them on Tuesday of this week. Still there today (2-3-13).
