Chrysaora colorata

Saw several purple-striped jellyfish washed upon the beach in La Salina, Mexico (in Baja, between Rosarito and Ensenada, about 48 miles south of US border). They varied in size from softball to dinner plate. I also saw many small clear blobs, the size of coins. Not sure if it was the same species.
