Not so much fun in the sun

Thought what I saw were clear bubbles in the water. Water was cool and refreshing. Waves were minimal. Felt a pinch, then came the stinging pain. I left the water. I did not go back in white vinegar dabbed on now raised whipped liked welts. Felt relief but only momentarily.
