Las Cuevas Bay, North Coast, Trinidad

Toddler and Mother stung in very shallow water at Las Cuevas, Trinidad. Only excruciating pain alerted the mother when her son screamed out in pain and held his groin area. A long mucus-like strand was wrapped around his waist, hips, thighs and buttocks. And became attached to the mother as she held him up to get him out of the water.
